Founded in 1993, Northeast Wisconsin Retina Associates is the only subspecialty group in the region devoted exclusively to the treatment of retinal disorders. In that time, we have built strong relationships with referring providers to ensure the best possible experiences for patients in need of sight-saving care. Emergent referrals are evaluated promptly to ensure timely treatment.
Our Referral Process
For your convenience, we have a routine referral form and a same-day urgent referral form, both of which can be printed and faxed to our office. Please call us directly with any questions or details that would help in the transition of your patient’s care to us. We’re here to make the process efficient and streamlined.
Our Team of Specialists
Each of our highly-trained retina specialists is deeply committed to providing the highest quality care to your patients, personalized to their unique needs. They strive to create a welcoming, calming atmosphere for them while delivering state-of-the-art treatments to protect and preserve their vision.
Our doctors have also been involved in a variety of National Institutes of Health (NIH) clinical trials including the Age-Related Eye Disease Study (AREDS), the Central Vein Occlusion Study (CVOS), the Macular Photocoagulation Study (MPS), the Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study (ETDRS), and the Collaborative Ocular Melanoma Study (COMS), among others. Additionally, our doctors have authored articles published in peer-reviewed journals such as the American Journal of Ophthalmology, Retina, Archives of Ophthalmology, and the British Journal of Ophthalmology.
